Tracebridge Cottage B&B offers relaxing breaks in a peaceful, rural location just 5 miles from the M5. Comfort, hospitality and a warm welcome awaits. Tracebridge Cottage Bed and Breakfast is found nestling in the Somerset countryside. This charming slate built cottage, formerly three slate quarry workers cottages has been modernised and updated but retains some lovely original features. The beams, fireplaces and window seats are a reminder that the oldest parts of the cottage are over 350 years old. Tracebridge Cottage is set in the lovely hamlet of Tracebridge on the Somerset Devon borders just 5 miles from the M5. Wellington, Taunton, Tiverton and Exeter are within easy reach, making the cottage an ideal venue for short breaks, an excellent stopover for walkers or cyclists and a delightful rural pitstop for those exploring the South West by car. Tracebridge Cottage is a tranquil place offering comfort and relaxation in a beautiful location. Delicious vegetarian breakfast made with fresh, local produce. Gluten free, vegan and other diets on request. Choice of continental or cooked breakfast made with quality ingredients. Breakfast, coffee or tea can be served in the garden patio area on warmer days. Bread from local suppliers including our local Tracebridge Sourdough bakery. Home made chutneys, biscuits and cakes. Seasonal home grown herbs and vegetables when available. Tracebridge Cottage has two pretty double room available. Rose room has a luxurious king size bed and a window seat overlooking the garden. Poppy room has stripped pine floorboards and a double bed. Guests have sole use of a contemporary shower room with basin, toilet, shower and heated towel rail. You may also wish to luxuriate in an extra deep Victorian style tub in the sumptuous shared bathroom. Sole use of comfortable sitting room with tea and coffee making facilities, multi-fuel burner, 40 inch Smart TV with Netflix, blu-ray DVD. Wifi access. Young children or babies accommodated by prior arrangement. Sorry dogs not routinely welcomed by two resident cats and our hens but do call to discuss. Off road parking. Lovely established gardens. Shed to house bikes. Collection from Tiverton Parkway or Taunton station arranged if helpful. You are assured a warm welcome. Lesbian and Gay friendly. Open: Feruary to December 22nd. Prices: £70.00 per room for two persons sharing. £55 single occupancy. Prices include breakfast. Reduction for 3 or more nights. The Globe Inn at Appley, serving good food and real ales and the Stawley Village Shop are ten minutes walk away. Local attractions: Cothay Manor, Ashbrittle Yew, Sheppys Somerset cider, Exmoor National Park. Update description
